How to Activate Office by Phone

Microsoft Office can be activated by telephone when online activation does not complete.

Step 1 — Open any Office application

Open Word, Excel or another Office program. If the activation wizard does not appear on its own, go to File → Account → Activate Product.

Step 2 — Choose phone activation

Select I want to activate the software by telephone, then choose your country. Office shows an Installation ID.

Step 3 — Call the activation centre

Call the number shown and read out the Installation ID when the automated system asks for it.

Step 4 — Enter the Confirmation ID

Type the Confirmation ID the system reads back into the wizard, then finish activation.

If activation is refused

This usually means the key has reached its activation limit. Contact us with your order number and we will check it and replace the key if it is faulty.
